Kasun Udara Gunawardena
28 years teaching social studies in Kandy
- 🇱🇰 Kandy, Central, Sri Lanka
- Since 2014
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and twelve years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You taught me social studies in 2015 at Kandy Public School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
