Ms. Dissanayake
Retired economics teacher from Dehiwala Academy
- 🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
- Dehiwala Academy
- 2006 to 2024
- English, Sinhala
I came to teaching late, after working as a waiter, and 18 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I ran the gardening club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Ms. Dissanayake
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I failed economics twice before you. After you I passed with a B. Thank you. Greetings from Agra.
