Kanchana Ishara Yapa

Master of auto repair, now teaching apprentices

🇱🇰 Dehiwala, Western, Sri Lanka
Old Dehiwala Trades Guild
Since 1979
English, Sinhala

I'm a auto repair specialist. If you live around Dehiwala, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you. The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.

More about Kanchana

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.

What gifts mean to Kanchana: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
