Farewell fund for Helen: help Rahel's family in Hawassa
After the sudden passing of Helen, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Helen, my grandmother, passed away on 8 July after complications from pneumonia. She was 90 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 22 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Helen to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $650 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $300
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $220
• Transport of the deceased: $55
• Memorial gathering for the family: $75
