Larissa needs a full set of tools to reopen a bicycle repair shop
Larissa has run a bicycle repair shop for four years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $500 will put it back on its feet.

For four years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Olinda. In August, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $165
• Working capital for the first month: $120
• Initial stock: spare parts: $215
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope it all works out, Larissa. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Johannesburg.
Take care, Larissa. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
Take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
