Harmony Park needs a community garden - Tyler's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a community garden - we need $4,100 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $4,100.
It will serve about 537 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $4,100 goes:
• Materials: $3,300
• Permits and inspections: $300
• Safety equipment and signage: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $220
