Hawa Safiatou Thiam
Professor of mathematics, Paris College
- 🇫🇷 Paris, Île-de-France, France
- Paris College
- 2002 to 2010

I spent eight years as a lecturer in mathematics at Paris College in Paris. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Hawa
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Hawa: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
