Florence Sarah Tumusiime
Coached softball for nine years in Mukono
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Mukono Football Club
- 1989 to 1998
- English, Swahili
For nine years I ran the softball program at Mukono Football Club in Mukono. We trained 4 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week.
What gifts mean to Florence: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1999. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from Coyoacán.
