Farhana Joya Akter
Helping people break into trades
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Ashford Community Trust
- 2004 to 2016
- English, Bengali
For twelve years I've mentored people in trades and farming. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Farhana
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
