I teach social studies at Amritsar Grammar School in Amritsar since 1982. Most days I teach Grade 11, and I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
Over the years I've had 1,360 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Diya
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
