Despina Dimitra Papanikolaou
Early years teacher at Thessaloniki Secondary School, Since 2016

I came to teaching late, after working as a shop assistant, and ten years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 510 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Despina
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

you taught me early years in 2020 at Thessaloniki Secondary School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
