Coach Vladimir
Chess and fitness coach, Kyiv
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Kyiv Youth Club
- Since 1980
- English, Ukrainian
I've coached chess at Kyiv Youth Club since 1980. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
More about Coach Vladimir
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Coach Vladimir: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
