I'm a cross country coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 220 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Coach Sofia
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Sofia: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
