Gleb Medvedev
Youth gymnastics coach and mentor
- 🇺🇦 Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine
- Kyiv Bayview Swimming Club
- 1984 to 2011
- English, Russian
I coached gymnastics at Kyiv Bayview Swimming Club from 1984 to 2011. Most of my players were between 11 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
More about Gleb
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Gleb: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
