I'm a basketball coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,080 kids fall in love with the game.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I sing in a choir.
More about Coach Veronica
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
Sports or skills coached
What gifts mean to Coach Veronica: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
