I've coached boxing at Rome Hillcrest Athletic Club since 2002. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I make terrible puns.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Francesco
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Francesco: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
