I've coached athletics at St. Joseph's Athletic Club since 1993. Most of my players were between 8 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Coach Petro
If you played for me, you probably remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
What gifts mean to Coach Petro: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
