Coach Nakato

Youth swimming coach and mentor

  • 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
  • Kinondoni Swimming Club
  • 2005 to 2021
  • English, Spanish
For 16 years I ran the swimming program at Kinondoni Swimming Club in Kinondoni. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather. Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I learned every name in the first week. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
