I'm a chess coach. I never went pro, but I get to see 1,490 kids fall in love with the game.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
More about Coach Dian
If you played for me, you probably remember the time the class pet escaped.
What gifts mean to Coach Dian: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

You coached me in 1993. I still hear your voice on the sideline. Greetings from San Francisco.
