I coached volleyball at Maple Ridge Swimming Club from 1986 to 2022. Most of my players were between 9 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

You coached me in 2025. I still hear your voice on the sideline! Greetings from Jakarta.
