Chamara Gayan Ekanayake
Hockey and fitness coach, Colombo
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Colombo Athletic Club
- Since 1995
- English
For 31 years I've run the hockey program at Colombo Athletic Club in Colombo. We trained 3 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
More about Chamara
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Chamara: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
