Amparo M. Valdez

12 years teaching sociology at Liberty Polytechnic

  • 🇨🇴 Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
  • Liberty Polytechnic
  • Since 1989
  • Spanish
I teach sociology at Liberty Polytechnic since 1989, and supervised 37 dissertations along the way. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Amparo

Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
