Fernanda A. Castillo
Professor of organic chemistry, Eastgate Polytechnic
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Eastgate Polytechnic
- Since 1979
- English, Spanish, French
I've spent 47 years as a lecturer in organic chemistry at Eastgate Polytechnic in Medellín. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
Former students now work as a bank clerk and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Fernanda
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Fernanda: Gifts will go to a small travel fund for students presenting their first paper.
