Akinyi Akinyi Kigozi
Brass band player and teacher in Kinondoni
- 🇹🇿 Kinondoni, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Kinondoni Orchestra
- 2018 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I've played brass band from 2018 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
I teach about 10 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I walk the dog by the river.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Akinyi
I wrote my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
