Abril T. Nava
Master of masonry, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Kingsway Works
- 2004 to 2019
- English, Spanish
My trade is masonry. I opened my own shop in 2004 in Iztapalapa and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I never rush a conversation.

What gifts mean to Abril: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
