Mercedes M. Rodríguez
Master of baking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇲🇽 Veracruz, Veracruz, Mexico
- Veracruz Workshop
- Since 1990
- Spanish
My trade is baking. I opened my own shop in 1990 in Veracruz and I'm still there most mornings.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 21 years later for another job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Mercedes
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Mercedes: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
