Xolani's final semester of a computer science degree in Soweto
Xolani is one semester away from finishing a computer science degree but is blocked from enrolling by an unpaid balance of $1,350.

Xolani is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a computer science degree at Soweto Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,350.
The registrar has said Xolani can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Xolani has a distinction average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Xolani would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Xolani isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Soweto Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Xolani
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. textbooks and materials is the biggest at $55. Good question.
