Help Leonardo restart a barbershop in Ciudad de México after a storm that collapsed the roof
A barbershop in Ciudad de México needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico1,638 views
For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in Ciudad de México. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $900 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $570
• Initial stock: supplies: $180
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $90
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this. I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Greetings from Nottingham.
