I coordinate donations at the Cedar Community Church in Paris. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Paris, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Cedar Community Church on Tuesday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Cedar Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

      • Stay strong, Chloé. This could happen to any of us. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Sacramento.

        • You're not alone, Chloé. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better.
