I coordinate donations at the Unity Family Centre in Rohini. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Rohini, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Unity Family Centre on Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Unity Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Rohini
reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. Thinking of Rohini.
Take care. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Prayagraj.
Thanks for sharing this. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Please keep us posted. God bless.
Hang in there, Senthil. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Rohini.
