Water shut-off notice: help Tuyết pay $600

The water account is 2 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on May unless I pay $600. I have never been late before losing my job in January. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $150 first, which I don't have. I live with two young children, and going through winter without water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. The money will go directly to the utility provider, and I'll post the paid statement here. Where the $600 goes: • Utility arrears: $240 • Reconnection and late fees: $95 • Down payment on a payment plan: $265 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Tuyết
