I coordinate donations at the Harmony Family Centre in Medellín. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Medellín, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Harmony Family Centre on Sunday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Harmony Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best
Wishing you peace, Ignacio. Shared it with a few friends. My cousin had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Hope things get better soon. Looking forward to the next update. I hope August is when things finally get easier. All the best
Sending good thoughts, Ignacio. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
so sorry you're going through this, Ignacio. Gave what I could, wish it was more. God bless.
