Levi's a craniotomy can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Levi was cleared for a craniotomy, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Levi was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Bowling Green General Hospital recommended a craniotomy, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $9,750, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $7,250 short.
my son has been in and out of Bowling Green General Hospital since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without a craniotomy. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $9,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Levi struggles with daily life and can't walk without help. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 12 weeks. During that time Levi won't be able to walk without help, so the costs keep growing.

What exactly is the $7,250 for?
