Finn is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 10 August we rushed to Jakarta Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $450. They have stabilized Finn, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Finn is more than a pet - Finn is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Jakarta Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $450 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $45 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35 • Emergency surgery: $370 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
