I coordinate donations at the Baobab Mosque in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Mosque on Thursday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

                • Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Put this on a community board in Narayanganj this morning.
