Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the rains.

I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Primary School in Arlington. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Arlington, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Primary School on Saturday between 10am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Primary School clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I hope life is good to you.

Thinking of you and your family, Madeline. Hope this works out for you. God bless.
Thanks for sharing this, Madeline. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. All the best.
sending good thoughts, Madeline. This could happen to any of us. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Tlaquepaque.
Hope things get better soon, Madeline. Your post was clear and honest. Thinking of Arlington
