I coordinate donations at the Liberty Mosque in Grand Rapids. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Grand Rapids, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Liberty Mosque on Wednesday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Liberty Mosque clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Glad we found this place.

  • Wishing you the best. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Kyiv but we're thinking of you. All the best.
