Liberty Primary School needs a youth football pitch - Jocelyn's neighborhood project

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Liberty Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $2,600. It will serve about 579 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $2,600 goes: • Materials: $1,400 • Permits and inspections: $330 • Safety equipment and signage: $440 • Tools hire and delivery: $430 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
