Winter coats and boots for 14 children at Cedar Women's Shelter in San Fernando

I coordinate donations at Cedar Women's Shelter in San Fernando. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in San Fernando, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Cedar Women's Shelter on Wednesday between 11am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Cedar Women's Shelter clothing bank, which is open to everyone. Glad we found this place.
