Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Rockford
Help keep a free food pantry open for neighbors in need in Rockford.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of the old library basement. We started with 13 families, and now we feed 231 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 36% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Rockford market and keep every receipt.
Each $50 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,700
• Refrigeration and electricity: $430
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $1,120
Glad we found this place.

Hope things get better soon. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Hubballi donated after I showed her your page. Love from Hubballi.
Praying for you, Fang. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Rockford
stay strong, Fang. Shared it with a few friends. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too
