Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Manila
Gianna runs a volunteer pantry feeding 383 families; this fund restocks shelves for the rainy season.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run the Thursday Table every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 30 families, and now we feed 383 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 15 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Manila market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $550 goes:
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $330
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $85
• Baby formula and diapers: $55
• Refrigeration and electricity: $80
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from London.
wishing you the best, Gianna. This could happen to any of us. Wish I lived closer to Gwangju so I could bring a meal. Take care.

Take care, Gianna. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
More neighborhoods should do this. I hope July is when things finally get easier.
