Uthai received an eviction notice - help us catch up on rent
A notice to vacate arrived last week. Uthai needs $700 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Khon Kaen.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 6 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $700 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $270
• Late fees and court costs: $90
• Rent arrears (3 months): $340
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Uthai
Quick update: $272 raised so far (39%). we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
Thank you all. We're at 20% now ($142). I'm honestly stunned. I met with the landlord and confirmed the amounts.
