Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Makati
The Neighbors' Pantry pantry in Makati is running low just as demand rises; $450 will stock it for 8 weeks.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Sunday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 24 families, and now we feed 75 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 50% this rainy season, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 19 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Makati market and keep every receipt.
Each $5 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $450 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $185
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $175
• Baby formula and diapers: $90
Every share and every dollar helps.
