Weekly meals for neighbors in need in Augsburg
Leni runs a volunteer pantry feeding 72 families; this fund restocks shelves for the summer.

Since 2023, our volunteer team has run Neighbors' Pantry every Tuesday from the back of the mosque courtyard. We started with 16 families, and now we feed 72 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 38% this summer, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 9 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Augsburg market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
All of the funds go to groceries, fresh produce, and cold-storage costs.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Fresh vegetables and fruit: $810
• Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $990
• Refrigeration and electricity: $200
I hope life is good to you.
- Leni

how is Leni doing now?
keep going, Leni. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update.
Hang in there. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. Sent it to 9 people at work. Thinking of Augsburg
You're not alone, Leni. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless
