Get Maxim back on the road: my food truck repair fund
Without my food truck Maxim can't work; a $350 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my food truck. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $350. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my 2 children. Before the breakdown I worked ten hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next three months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update.
Where the $350 goes:
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $190
• Labor charges: $75
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $75
• Towing and inspection: $10
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Maxim
Sure. The biggest one is fuel pump replacement (parts), $190. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Your post was clear and honest. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Maxim?
