We lost everything in the flood: help the families of Old Town Lane start over
The flood damaged 48 homes in the families of Old Town Lane. We're raising funds for repairs, supplies and temporary shelter.

The flood hit the families of Old Town Lane on 9 October. My home was one of 48 damaged, and 4 families are still in temporary shelter at the sports club.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $6,200 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $1,800
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $710
• Roofing sheets and timber: $3,300
• Clean water and purification supplies: $390
I hope life is good to you.

Rooting for you, Tyler. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Take care.
hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Surrey.
Wishing you peace. Hope you get there. Greetings from Nairobi
