Warm clothes needed: the Pioneer Family Centre families in Mérida
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at the Pioneer Family Centre.

I coordinate donations at the Pioneer Family Centre in Mérida. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Mérida, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Pioneer Family Centre on Sunday between 9am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Pioneer Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Mérida
Thanks for sharing this, Julián. This could happen to any of us. After 10 years in construction I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Dnipro
