Indore
Harsh was diagnosed with cervical cancer in June. The oncology team at the Indore Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Harsh is 52, worked as a shop owner until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Indore Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,100 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $610 • Scans and lab work: $250 • Transport to the Indore Oncology Institute: $150 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Ishita
