I coordinate donations at the Lotus Family Centre in Benin City. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Benin City, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Family Centre on Saturday between 9am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Edo. I'll ask around and let you know
you're not alone, Ifeoma. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. God bless.
Good luck, Ifeoma. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Take care
wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Bursa but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
Rooting for you, Ifeoma. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'm in public service myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Blessings.
