I coordinate donations at the Baobab Community Church in Surat. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Surat, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Baobab Community Church on Wednesday between 10am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Baobab Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope it all works out, Akash. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Jakarta.

Keep going, Akash. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
